BMI Mission Trips

Posted

BMI is headed to Corozal, Belize for their second mission this year. They will serve patients from June 8-13, 2024 including cataract and pterygium surgeries. Watch for updates on the impact of their mission soon!

In June 2023, BMI sent a team of 24 to Corozal, Belize. During their 5 clinic days the team was able to see 491 patients. Of those patients, 264 received sight through prescription glasses. The surgical team also contributed 45 cataract surgeries and 18 pterygium surgeries. The need for quality eye care in this part of Belize is great and preparations are already underway for our next trip to Belize in February 2024.
